This online-privacy tool eliminates system traces and even pop-up ads. AbsoluteShield Internet Eraser Pro lets you hide all browser windows at once with a boss key. It also deletes all tracks from cached Web files, the visited-files history, cookies, typed URLs, index.dat files, saved passwords and usernames, the temporary-files folder, the Recycle Bin, and recently opened documents. Plug-ins eliminate lists of recently used files and playlists created by popular applications such as Kazaa Media Desktop and Windows Media Player. We particularly liked the Profiles feature, which lets you define what to erase and when. The program can automatically delete files on the next Windows start-up if they are currently in use. You can securely erase files so no one can restore them, although the feature could be easier to use. The built-in pop-up blocker works well; its sensitivity adjusts from blocking only invisible pop-ups to killing all new Internet Explorer windows. AbsoluteShield Internet Eraser Pro is a good browser companion for surfing in insecure conditions, such as at work.

Publisher's description

From SysShield Consulting :

Your computer is tracking all your activities. Every time you browse Internet, your own computer records your activities with programs like Internet Explorer, AOL, and Netscape. If you're a business person who doesn't want colleagues to know what Web sites you've visited, a student who doesn't want fellow students to know which Internet files you've opened, or a home user who wants to keep your history of files, videos, and music private, AbsoluteShield Internet Eraser Pro provides the tools that you need. The tool cleans browser history, cache, cookie, typed URL, autocomplete list, saved password, and index.dat. Besides the traces in browser, it also cleans the tracks in Windows. The tool also has an integrated, intelligent ad window, pop-up blocker, and messenger service pop-up blocker.

Version 3.31 adds the support to AOL 9.0 and contains some other minor enhancements and bug fixes.
