This online-privacy tool eliminates system traces and even pop-up ads. AbsoluteShield Internet Eraser Pro lets you hide all browser windows at once with a boss key. It also deletes all tracks from cached Web files, the visited-files history, cookies, typed URLs, index.dat files, saved passwords and usernames, the temporary-files folder, the Recycle Bin, and recently opened documents. Plug-ins eliminate lists of recently used files and playlists created by popular applications such as Kazaa Media Desktop and Windows Media Player. We particularly liked the Profiles feature, which lets you define what to erase and when. The program can automatically delete files on the next Windows start-up if they are currently in use. You can securely erase files so no one can restore them, although the feature could be easier to use. The built-in pop-up blocker works well; its sensitivity adjusts from blocking only invisible pop-ups to killing all new Internet Explorer windows. AbsoluteShield Internet Eraser Pro is a good browser companion for surfing in insecure conditions, such as at work.Publisher's description

Pros: Does what it says. I do like this program. But it's not free.
Cons: Get CCleaner. It does the same things, but it's free.

Pros: easy to use.
Cons: You can just empty your Temporary Internet files. If you're little brother is smart enough to unerase files, he can browse for "stuff" on his own without having to resort to your "tracks"

"heavyweight champion in small size !"
Pros: Very nice interface. works. i use IE and Opera , and as claimed it really completes its job. even the support from the company is good. even if you use other browser or keep switching your browsers now n then this applicatioin is right for you . its integration with windows xp is great.
Cons: Little expensive. other programs like ccleaner which are equally good come for free. speed of this application is tad slow. i think it should be tweaked for searching. overall it is very good given its performance i completely recommend it.

"I like Webroot Window Washer better"
Pros: Does a ok job
Cons: Price is too high and a short trial period.
I think Webroot Window Washer does a better job. With Window Washer you get a 30 day trial period and the price is only $29.95 Here are some reasons I like Window Washer better.
This program offers a fast and simple way to protect your privacy by erasing Web browsing and application history. Upon launch, the program automatically scans your PC for supported applications, including such commonplace ones as Adobe Acrobat and RealPlayer. Clicking the Wash Now button literally leaves your browser's cache, cookies, the history, and the temporary files list as clear as the day Windows was first installed. If you want more control, you can specify exactly what components to clean via the Wash Setup icon. Webroot Window Washer doesn't display detailed information about specific files, but it does give you a list of basic statistics. You can protect the program with a password and schedule cleaning sessions at regular intervals. The ability to wipe free disk space according to secure algorithms is a bonus, but it would be nice if the program also could shred files and folders. In the final analysis, Webroot Window Washer has very few flaws, making it a fine pick for anyone concerned with privacy issues.
