Abexo Defragmenter Pro effectively optimizes your system, although it isn't as tough as it promises. Its simple, neatly designed interface has several optimization options, including the removal of page files, the running of the ScanDisk, and, of course, defragmentation. At the start, Abexo Defragmenter Pro displays a preselected list of configurations that you can easily modify for what the developer calls autorun. Personally, we think it should be called one-click run since you can't schedule the application to automatically perform or even set it to go to work at system start-up. We also cleaned up our Recycle Bin, index.dat files, temp folder, and recent documents. We were pretty disappointed to learn that this program's claim to fame is more of a piggyback ride of sorts; it works by running your own Windows defragmenter. Although it's effective, this paltry five-day trial application is bland at best.
