This single-function application provides real-time monitoring for your available disk space, but we would like a longer trial period. Abaiko Disk Space Monitor's interface is neatly designed, straightforward, and relatively easy to use. It detects all known drives on your computer and displays their total size and remaining free space. The program lets you specify the type of monitoring you want to perform by percentage, byte, MB, or GB. You also can provide the time interval for checking your free space in seconds, minutes, or hours. Abaiko Disk Space Monitor displays an All OK message if the programmed free-space limit isn't reached or pops up a warning message if it has been. It ran smoothly and effectively in the background during our evaluation. However, its 15-day trial period is a little shorter than we'd like. Nonetheless, any user--and especially those with multiple hard drives on their systems--will surely benefit from the real-time monitoring that this application provides.
