From ATI Technologies :

The Catalyst Vista driver for the Windows Vista operating system includes a Catalyst software driver (version 8.442) and Catalyst Control Center and is now Microsoft WHQL certified.

Catalyst 7.12 introduces an Avivo update, which allows the ATI Catalyst Control Center to reflect what is supported by the driver taking into account the graphics card installed in the system, and will not expose any video features that is not supported by the driver; it also adds enhanced ATI Overdrive support for the ATI RadeonHD 2900 Series.
