It's supposed to make your life a little easier by letting your preview your Yahoo messages without leaving your in-box, but this free Firefox add-on proved to be more of a pain than anything.
AJAX Yahoo! Mail [Viamatic WebMail ] operates directly from your Yahoo account. Once you install the application, a plus sign appears next to each message in your in-box. In theory, a simple click of the plus sign is supposed to display the e-mail message. We found that the preview was slow to load, and the e-mail message itself never appeared. A big, blank space took its place. The Instant Reply feature worked, but that wasn't very useful with no way to see the original message.
Yahoo users will have to rely on the standard way of viewing messages, because this freeware add-on won't be any help.
