Version: ACDSee 1.6
"Is There A Way To Give This Only Half A Star?!"
Pros: As I see it, the Mac version of ACDSee has absolutely no "pros" to it. The bells and whistles found on the PC version have magically disappeared for the Mac - which proves that manufacturers and software designers don't feel the Mac market is worth the effort. Tragic, really.
Cons: I wish I could say that I was happy with this download of ACDSee, but I'm not. Give me my PC-like interface, the ease-of-use, and my "find duplicates" along with other features and I'll be happy.
The BIG downside to this software is: it was designed for OS8. Give me a break!

Summary: Too bad the people at ACDSee haven't work on the mac version. The PC one is very good. The mac version is very poor!

Pros: Fast preview of pics in a folder
Cons: Almost zero of the functionality that the PC version has. Guess I'll use the PC version as one of my few 'killer apps' under virtualization. The Mac version has a very long way to go.
