If you're into 3D, this program offers an inexpensive way to create 3D photos and videos that can be viewed through a variety of 3D glasses. Although its subject area is a bit esoteric for most users, 3DCombine's accessible interface and help manual even can get novices started. The interface displays left- and right-eye images side by side, letting you edit them concurrently. Although the button icons aren't all that intuitive, they have tool tips that let you know what they do. You can use 3DCombine's editing functions to manually create your 3D masterpieces, or simply use its automatic function, which provides a few different presets.
Although 3DCombine includes batch processing functions, its editing interface only lets you work on a single 3D image at a time. Its output formats include Red/Green, Red/Blue, Cross Eyed, and Parallel. Its internal viewer lets you display the 3D images, but you will need other equipment, such as 3D glasses, to really see your creations. The Help manual offers some good information about creating 3D images, but could go into more detail on the specific editing functions within the program. With a good interface, multiple output formats, and the ability to handle video, 3DCombine should work well for people interested in exploring 3D imagery.

"Exactly what I was looking for...."
Pros: Able to make Anaglyph 3D to Field Sequential 3D and dual stream, whether it be pictures or video. Can convert between many types of 3D.
Cons: Time taken, and Loss of most of the red prism.
However, this isn't the progams fault. Most of the "right eye red" is deleted while the movie is made by the studio. (Explained in review.)Summary: This program is really efficient overall. It can take a proper anaglyph and convert it to Field sequential or Daul Stream. It can also covert just about any type of 3D to almost any other.
