From Poor David :Poor David is a free compact yearly almanac, in the spirit of the almanacs so popular before the twentieth century. It contains facts, figures, essays, satire and (of course) monthly calendars showing important dates in many lands for 2008. This year's edition (Version 8.0) contains updated content, while the previous year's bumper crop of humor has been allowed to lay fallow. But hey, it's free!
