1st Registry Repair is a utility to optimize your system registry by finding and removing errors and invalid entries. The registry is a heart and soul of any Windows system. It contains information that controls how your system appears and how it behaves. Problems with the Windows Registry are a common cause of Windows crashes and error messages. These problems can occur for many reasons, including components being left behind after uninstallation or the incorrect removal of software, missing or corrupt hardware drivers, or orphaned start-up programs.
This software uses a highly intelligent engine to scan your computers registry for invalid registry entries. After the scan is complete, it can show you a full list of errors, allowing you to choose the invalid entries to remove. It offers an integrated backup feature, so you can restore the registry in case your cleanup operations cause any problems. Version 1.5 is Vista compatible, adds 'Empty Registry Keys' section, new option to create system restore point and new option to ignore missing files on removable drives.

Although it's not feature-packed, 1st Registry Repair scans and completely removes errors in your Windows Registry. The program's straightforward interface displays the Registry scan options areas in a tree list, each with a check box to indicate inclusion in the scanning process. We were impressed with the number of scan options, which includes common Registry errors like faulty ActiveX controls, invalid application paths and file types, remnants of previously uninstalled programs, and orphaned help files. 1st Registry Repair thoroughly scanned our test machine, and the problems it found were displayed according to type.
However, it didn't tell the severity of errors or whether it is safe to delete a Registry entry. Thankfully, it automatically creates a backup of deleted Registry entries if system instability results from your changes. On the plus side, the program did locate numerous errors, and we liked that it completely removed all found errors despite its demo status. Although it did well in maintaining the integrity of our Registry, we wish it included a Registry defragmenter to remove gaps left by deleted entries. Still, this 14-day trial program does what it says it will do, and experienced users who want to keep their computer performing at a high level will benefit from using it.

Pros: Absolutly Awesome!
It downloads very fast and has less space.
Finds alot of invalid Registrys (I had around 250 Invalid Registry Keys and now after using this product i only have 2)
Fast Scan and Cleaner!
I Highly Recommend this product, or at least use the 14 day trail!

"By far the best registry fix program!!"
Pros: This program contains no limitations to what it can fix. Unlike the rest which only allows 50 fixes only.
Cons: Only 14 days trial. But it worth the download!

Pros: downloaded, installed and ran easy. cleared the registry quickly and made a great differance in speed.

Cons: It found many entries but it does not tell which entries are unsafe to remove. This is scary to me. It also slows the computer & other applications when it's running.
Summary: I suggest trying something else like Glary Registry Repair.
