CNET Editors' review
Anyone who uses the Web for a while knows that login information starts to pile up quickly. With online e-mail accounts, login information for online banking, and countless forums, most users start to use the same passwords for everything. It's pretty easy to see how this is a bad security practice.
Fortunately, you can download 1Password, which remembers all your passwords so you don't have to. Simply come up with a secure master password and then train 1Password to log in to sites for you. It integrates seamlessly with Apple's Mac OS X Keychain and generates complex passwords for you, making it impossible for anyone to crack your code. What's more, you can use 1Password's Go Fill option to automatically login to your favorite sites (think of it as super secure bookmarks) to get you where you want to be quickly.
You can organize your software licenses all in one section, and you can access 1Password from other computers, as well as sync it with your iPhone, iPod Touch, or iPad--and the app can now integrate closely with the free Dropbox service, for "syncing to the cloud." An easy-to-use Sync Conflict Resolver helps you manage differences in data between multiple devices. Overall, if you have a lot of logins for several Web sites, 1Password is the best software available to keep your logins secure without having to remember tons of passwords.
Publisher's Description
From Agile Web Solutions:
1Password is a Password Manager that uniquely brings you both Security and Convenience. It is the only program that provides Anti-Phishing protection and goes beyond password management by adding Web Form Filling and Automatic Strong Password Generation. All your confidential information, including passwords, identities, and credit cards, is kept in one secure place provided by Apple's OS X Keychain. 1Password browser extensions support Safari, Camino, Firefox, OmniWeb, DEVONagent, NetNewsWire, Netscape Navigator, and Flock. All browser extensions share the data stored in the keychain which means you never need to manually copy your passwords between browsers or from the password manager to a browser ever again! 1Password has received numerous awards, including 4.5 mice from Macworld magazine, MacLife Editors pick, and was the Pick of Week on MacBreak Weekly by both Leo Laporte and Merlin Mann.

"1Password is worth its weight in gold."
Version: 1Password 3.3.0
Summary
This review was originally posted on VersionTracker.com.
Working within the IT part of our school district, I have the pleasure of installing and troubleshooting lots of software on our district's Macs. Some are poor, some are good, and then some of the software I use is great.
Ever since I've installed and used 1Password, I've easily categorized this software as a "great" software. It has saved me so much time and trouble while dealing with logging into all of the web sites that require login names and passwords.
And with the built-in password generator, I'm assured that my passwords are strong enough to keep my privacy safe. Plus Drop Box allows you to sync your 1Password items between several Macs.
Excellent software and even better tech support from Agile Web Solutions.

I'm a new PC-to-Mac transplant - I've had my new MacBook Pro for a little less than a month.
A friend recommended 1Password as a replacement to my Windows tools for the same purpose, and I'm absolutely thrilled! 1Password is FANTASTIC!
On the PC side I've used Spb Wallet and eWallet - both of which I liked - but they pale in comparison to 1Password. Browser integration is very smooth (I use FireFox), tags are easily assigned, multiple levels of security, and enough templates to get started. Dropbox support, however, sold me. I absolutely LOVE the fact that I can access my passwords via the web (DropBox) or from my PC, Mac, or iPhone without manually synchronizing data. -
"Good utility, easy to use."
Version: 1Password 3.3.0
Pros
Makes it easy to access passwords and easy to fill in a form
Cons
I still haven't located where the passwords are shown in charaters rather than as ******.

"Great Utility Software"
Version: 1Password 3.3.0
Summary

Having switched from Windows to Mac about a year ago, I finally found the time to figure out a few aspects of 1Password that had bothered me. Their Customer Support answered promptly and solved all my questions about customizing the one click options, and combined with the DropBox syncing and iPhone app, I could not be more pleased with the product, the company, and the people. An absolutely first rate software package and also a great bunch of folks! I now no longer need to think about ever going back to Windows and Roboform, a good program in its own right, but fully surpassed by 1Password. It is a little pricey, but a good value nonetheless. -

If you are tired of chasing passwords you have forgotten, looking for credit card numbers, or all the other bits of data that are so often needed, "1Password" is the answer. The developers at Agile are constantly upgrading the program to keep up with the constant changes in browser architecture, adding support for newly released browsers, as well as adding new features, such as remembering software registration numbers. Your data is fully password protected too. "1Password" is by far the premier program of its type currently available, and due to its constant development, I expect it will remain so. This is a top notch program, bar none.
