CNET Editors' review
1-abc.net Startup Booster is a curious program directed toward users who want to customize their computers and their operations. By allowing files to be opened up on a schedule, there is practically no limit to what you can do with this program, but not everyone will find a need for this unique download.
This program offers a no-frills method of performing many tasks. From opening security software on a daily basis, to playing a favorite song every five minutes, users may bring their computers to life with 1-abc.net Startup Booster. Creating a new task is incredibly easy: simply browse through files for the selected program or file you wish to run in the menu. For example, if users want a daily organizer to open every morning at eight, they can simply choose to customize the settings and set it for that time. Beyond that, commands can be given for programs or files to open anywhere from once a minute to once a year.
Our only concern is how useful this program will be for most people. Many programs, like security software, already come with schedulers, so beyond opening pictures or mp3s, its necessity is a big question mark. Still, if your style of use demands such a product, 1-abc.net Startup Booster is easy to learn and works well.
Publisher's Description
From 1-abc:
1-abc.net Startup Booster is much more than a Windows startup configuration tool! When Windows starts, it checks for registry entries that allow the system to execute files and programs together with it automatically. This so-called Windows startup can include drivers for printers and other hardware, anti virus software, anti spyware tools or programs that you want to use permanently. One problem is: viruses, spyware and adware often install such startup entries additionally that allow them to be started automatically every time you turn on your computer too. Another problem is that many programs do not delete their startup entries correctly when they are uninstalled. For that case, booting time is extended because the system searches for files that can not be found.
What's new in this version: Version 3.01 includes optimized interface, extended Windows 7 support, and printing feature.

"Total disaster to operate."
Version: 1-abc.net Startup Booster 1.03
Pros
Nothing...........
Cons
As soon as this prog is downloaded it asks to extend your trial to 30 days. When you try extending it wont provide you with the relevant information. I tried 3 seperate uninstalls and then downloads and didnt get it to operate once.
This programme certainly isnt worth purchasing....instead try Quick Startup 1.7 which is a superb programme providing the same functions and its totally free.
