Although it provides a few useful tools for managing and sharing digital images, 1-More PhotoManager's confusing interface and meager amount of editing tools keep it from trumping its numerous competitors. We wouldn't say this program employs a wizard in the traditional sense of the word, but it does give you several quick options upon launch, including those for creating an album, managing photos, and importing shots from a camera. However, we were less than impressed with the main interface, which has a total of five panes and can seem overwhelming at first glance. As an image editor, 1-More PhotoManager is nothing special. You can tweak colors, rotate shots, and apply a few filters, but you won't find a tool for red-eye removal. This program's image-management skills are a bit better, allowing you to sort by date, title, place, or comments. The bare-bones slide-show builder is completely nonconfigurable, but we did appreciate the ability to share images via an EXE file, burn a photo CD, and upload our albums via FTP. Since it may be too tough for beginners to use and doesn't offer enough editing features for more seasoned shutterbugs, this program may have a tough time finding a receptive audience.
