Blocking pop-up windows is 0pop Popup Killer's aim, and it makes good on that goal. A quick installation adds the freeware program to your system tray where you can enable or disable its activities, open a history window, or right-click to view the program's settings, limited though they may be. By default, the program will actively block pop-ups, yet it's a small irony that the program itself pops up on your desktop when doing its duty. You also can use the program to record your Web-surfing history and clear your cache, cookies, or other surfing detritus. Setting aside its limited options and occasionally inelegant interface, 0pop Popup Killer is effective enough to satisfy a variety of users.

seems to work ok. doesnt block every single pop-up but does a pretty good job i think; for being free and all. there may be better pop-up blockers out there but i havent had a problem with this one yet and i have had it for almost a year. theres no beep when it blocks something like it says, its more of a little "tick" noise. sometimes it blocks folders from opening on your desktop but if you just click it again it will usually open. all and all id say its not bad for freeware.

Ok, i got just a bit mad when i restarted my computer to finish the installation...you know what it said? It said "Software expired, please enter registration code now" and so it had provided me with a code afterwards...so at first i was relieved. So i entered the code...and it said "Wrong code!" All these people want you to do is download it and get ticked off. grrr...

I had a lot of hope for this product, but from what it claims versus what it actually is, are 2 very different things, 1st off it gives you no options to control, I know I get a lot of pop ups & it is supposed to beep, well I've used it for 3 hrs now & not 1 beep! My speed is actually slower...ugh
