• TONS of add-on spyware/software

  Absolutely none.

  TONS of junk add-on software that download with it, even if you decline to add them!

  Summary

  DO NOT, DO NOT, DO NOT DOWNLOAD THIS SOFTWARE!!!!! It blatantly disregards your choices when downloading and although you DECLINE all the add-on softwares that come with it they still download and install on your computer changing your home page, search engine, adding unnecessary toolbars, etc. I thought I had made a mistake when downloading so I did it twice. Spent over half hour each time uninstalling all the JUNK that comes with it. DON"T download, you'll be sorry you did!!!!!!

  Cons

  The installer, either CNet's or Zipeg installed the Sweetpacks toolbar and all the other associated Sweetpacks bloatware even though I specifically declined it. It also disabled JAVA on my machine. I uninstalled the program without trying it and reinstalled JAVA.

  Summary

  I'm an experienced PC user and have been for over 30 years. I'm not a new user who just randomly clicks until the program is installed.

  No, as it didn't work

  Cons

  The installer completed successfully only on the third attempt. However, the program couldn't be run then. As it turned out, the particular problem I ran into was known for more than a year (tried version 2.9.4.1316): http://code.google.com/p/zipeg/issues/detail?id=23

  I really like this program, because it makes it possible to open a .rar or .zip file without extracting it first. This is a huge advantage which I really enjoy. Great software!

  Works on zip, 7z, rar, bz2, gz, tgz, tar, arj, lzh, z, cab, chm, cpio, ear, war, cbr, cbz. Most these i've never encountered, but good to have just in case.

  Summary

  Over the years I have used several Unzip programs. Every one of them was difficult and complicated to use. Most of them eventually wanted money, like the idiots at Winzip. This program is a no brainer, a baby could operate it. I like it!
