Nice tool, but dies on non .Net systems & a bug...
RobbSadler- Pros
- I like that it creates a SFX quite painlessly and has some nice options. It is freeware, and thus a great tool for some situations. I thought it was easy to use.
- Cons
- It apparently uses dot net in its dll because it wouldn't run on my test box. Since I was attempting to start a bootstrap that would detect the missing .Net and install it I was stuck. I will keep this for other uses though - worth checking out.
- Summary
- Overall for the price ;~) this is a great little tool - if you don't mind saying "You must install .Net x before running this installation." you have a great way to package your files. There is also a bug that does not let you select a zip file outside of the packager's folder. It fails until the zip file is in the directory where the app is.
