  Pros

  Well I tested Aone, diskinternal and datanumen on copies of the same zip file. All of them did recover max. 1 of the over 100 files in my bad zip file - except for zip repair pro. It did recover nearly all - if not all of the files in my bad zip file.

  Cons

  Big program, extensively and time consuming.

  Summary

  The best I have tried - actually works!

• How can you evaluate without the file?

  Pros

  ZERO... Can't evaluate the product if it doesn't allow you to open the file after being "fixed". They give you a report that its fixed, that's it. How do I really know its fixed?

  Cons

  It is not a true evaluation... don't waste your time or space on your computer unless you plan on purchasing the software. It does not allow you to really see if it works.

  Do Not download unless you buy... its a waste of time!

• A flat out SCAM

  It did absolutely nothing for

  Wasted time downloading this only for it to tell me they flat out lied and don't let you recover files under five megabytes. It couldn't even tell me the name of what was inside of it but it went through all the motions like it would be able to help you if you forked over the money. It didn't even finish uninstalling itself and it's only a couple files.

  Summary

  Don't even waste your time unless you like being scammed.

  I ran a file through the repair process, and that was that. Nothing. Just nothing. The demo won't save the repaired file. That's okay. I just wanted to see that it worked before buying. But the demo, although it says it's analyzing, doesn't ever show you the recovered/repaired file. Nor does it say whether or not it was able to repair it. It just stops and asks if you want to do another one. Well, no. When I contacted customer service they just kept reiterating that I should buy the full version. With no evidence that it works. Why would anyone do that?

  As the subject zip file was larger that 5 Mb, was not able to confirm that the product actually worked without purchasing it.

  It says it can do this,that and the other.It doesn't allow tou to do anything to see if it works unless you buy it.I have gone thru 10 programs that say the same thing but none will prove it to you. This another example of that.I don't care if it will repair it and show it to you repaired but won't save it for you.At least that is better than ZERO.

  Pros

  Saved my "lost" zip folder in less than 30 seconds. Very easy to run fixer. Just import files and choose "repair." No part of this program took too long to complete
