This organizer program is a well-designed, easy-to-use tool that helps keep track of appointments, tasks, larger projects, and other special events. The reliable YearPlanner resembles Microsoft Outlook's Calendar in design and function. You can create spreadsheets to look at long-term plans, from groupings of three months to a whole year on screen. A zoom function helps you read the very small print. During testing we were able to set reoccurring events by week, month, or year without trouble, as well as set reminders for events starting from two weeks ahead to five minutes prior. Events also can be sorted by category, for example, birthdays or business travel. Overall, it's a good planner for a busy person who needs help keeping track of near- and long-term projects.

It's OK, but could use improvement

It mostly does what the product claims.
Cons
The description of the product fails to say several things: 1. Only 1 to 1 1/2 of events show up in the year view. That is not customizable by adjusting to 8 1/2 x 14 landscape in order to show more events. It is confined to 8 1/2 x 11--period. This is a big drawback for instance, for making a projection of an annual schedule for an organization. 2. I got more events to show on a single day on a 6 month calendar than I did on a 3 month calendar. Go figure. 3. The Holiday download function in the program fails to work. 4. There is ZERO customer service. I have emailed these people twice and received ZERO response. A product is only as good as its customer service--especially when a function does not work.
Summary
I need the product or I would not have bought it. However, I am contemplating requesting my money back. If I decide to pursue that avenue and customer service fails to respond, then I plan to put a stop payment on my credit card.

Absolutely fabulous software, can be used as organiser, year planner and to-do application. I do not agree with the previous review about uninstalling it? I had no problems with it. The author has put together a unique and great idea which works very well.
