In spite of a small performance grumble and a rather unappealing interface, this free program delivers on its promise. WorldTime2000 quickly gives you the hour in every time zone on the planet, and also syncs your PC's clock with atomic servers. After choosing your current location, the application will display that time on its main window. It's handy you can view the time in other areas of the world with a quick click of the correct button, but the main interface is bland and littered with banner ads. When we tried to sync up to one of the many atomic clocks the program lets you access, we had to click on a few before we had success, though this feature did eventually work. WorldTime2000 isn't fancy, but it is free and functional.

Overall it is a real nice display and easy to use. The only thing is the cost of the program, I think it is a little to much for a clock program.

I can not even believe CNET has this $@#!. I am sure buried in the fine print they claim no responsibility...I understand...but this is border-line malicious. Stay away. Try ZoneTick as a FANTASTIC alternative! <p> <p>As for WorldTime...uninstall is possible...but not easy! I think it was called Unwise.exe in Program File/WorldTime...

It has, or at least appears to have a lot of functionality. More than I was looking for.

Immediate reaction when seeing it for the first time was, "uh oh, bad choice". Kind of like the look of when somebody creates a web page for the first time. Your immediately hit with pop-up promts to configure the thing, it has ads in it, and there are so many ugly icons and buttons that you can't seem to uninstall it fast enough. But wait! You can't!... at least, not until you reboot and the uninstaller decides to work. I say 2 stars - it's probably functional, but definitely not user-friendly. I wouldn't give it the time of day. Oops, bad joke.
