• Biggest SCAM company I have yet worked with. STAY AWAY!

  Pros

  The software does loosely what it says its going too... Gives suggestions for keywords, etc.

  Cons

  The company is a joke... probably 5-10 employees who's only focus is on selling you their contract (Even if you disregard this review... do yourself a favor and DO NOT buy a contract)! I got pitched by their sales force right after starting my first company... the offer sounded great. Help with PPC advertising for $300 a month. Plus Perry Marshall a personal hero of mine put his name next to them (no clue why at this point...). I tried out their software and it wasn't doing much if anything for me (perhaps I was too much a niche I'm not sure). I called to cancel my account (forgetting that the sales lady had talked me into a year long contract) and now they want $1,000 more to "buy out" the rest of my contract... No option to freeze account... No empathy... Worst company I have found in the last 5 years hands down. The smallest company that exemplifies everything I hate about big business! Please do not fall into this trap!

  absolutely other review are true....... word stream only after the money - think 1000 times before sign up...software not that great ...i have used this software for 6 months..no good ..no improvements..no reduction in the cost... world stream staff gives too much hype about the software...money waste, time waste....i need to wait 6 months to cancel the software

• Really good software for managing PPC

  Pros

  Saves me a ton of time managing my adwords campaign. I love QueryStream and the 20 Min Work Week. Spent a lot of time trying to break down my Ad Groups to be more relevant, and the Split Ad Groups tool was pretty awesome. Suggested groups for me and the process was done. Overall I like using Wordstream's software more than Adwords, it's helped me out a lot.

  Cons

  Maybe not for Adwords pro's, but I'm definitely not a pro so it's been great so far. I haven't had any issues with the software, and the support has been good.

  If you're looking for an easier way to do adwords definitely check it out. Still going strong. Not sure why people are talking about wordstream being after the money, it doesnt make sense. Its a set of tools that make it easier to run adwords, if you suck at adwords and have no idea what you're doing...you're not going to do well, and you're not going to be happy with the tools. it's as simple as that.

  until you begin paying they are very nice, but they know why : because after you become a bit addicted and think that you have discovered the world you are theirs ... after few payments you optimize some costs but the results are not coming as expected (maybe for the very big clients they do ...) - they say it needs 6 months ... you cannot pause or interrupt the account - you are forced to pay even if you don't use; and even of you say this they are just saying pay pay pay ... i have not ever see a subscription that you cannot interrupt or pause for a while, so be very carefull because once you start paying the there is no turning back - you either pay and have some results or you stop and then you are kicked no matter how many thousands of usd you gave them ... my performance grader (their calculation) is above 97% - so i have scored better then most of their graded adwords accounts - and this wasn't coming from their software because I used it only 1-2 days a month when I had time. the account was allready optimized before I got to them and I really thought it will help me do more ... it didn't and I wasted lots of money ... and I could use only QUERRYSTREAM because all the other tools are not working in my native language ... as a conclusion, if your website is in english, maybe using all their tools it will be worthy ... but if you don't, then stay away !!

• Helpful SEO content authoring plugin.

  Pros

  It's very easy to use, provides in-line content authoring suggestions, and works off of your own data.

  Cons

  The tool could have some more features, but these will be in future releases.

  Summary

  The tool gives really strong keyword suggestions as you type/create content. That's really pretty invaluable.

• Killer Tool for Keyword Research and SEO Copywriting!

  Pros

  The SEO for Firefox plugin is great for blogging b/c it unites my keyword research and content creation in one screen. The plugin shows me which keywords to target for the best SEO traffic and it tracks how many times I use those keywords in my copy.

  Cons

  Eh...could use a more intuitive UI, which is minor, but I'm told that's in the next rev.

  Summary

  WordStream for SEO is a set of powerful keyword research and content authoring and optimization tools that work alongside CMS platforms (like Wordpress, Blogger and Drupal, etc) to help you write more focused, search engine ready blog posts, product pages and/or sales page copy. I also think the tool is fantastic for discovering new blog topics b/c it taps into the analytics data on my website so I can get fresh content ideas based on the proven keywords that users have typed into the engines to find my site. There's also a built-in keyword suggestion and keyword grouping feature which helps with discovering new keywords and then organizing them into tight groups so I can write content based on a basket of keywords. Long story short, WordStream for SEO has been a huge plus for creating content on my site that's now driving traffic from search engines, which is the whole idea.
