• Why ever port an editor like "vi" to Win?

  November 18, 2003

  Pros

  Cons

  Summary

It seems Premji has not worked on vi. Although there are retrophiles, UNIX is NOT the OS for any great development... and especially definitely NOT on vi... Linux is much better off in providing options for editing --- Long Live the Penguin!!!

  Pros

  Cons

  Summary

Great product. Minor issues would make it better - mailx/sendmail as well as better support for vi (missing characters/cleanup when telnetting in with Linux rxvt)
