I've been using versions previous to 9.5 for years and never had a problem. When I downloaded v9.5 and attempted to register it, using my "lifetime" registration code, the code wasn't being accepted.

Scanners have reported malware over the years. Threatfire goes nuts with its activities. There are equally good utilities without the russian "extras."

Certainly tidied up windows for me and had a few nice tweak options, registry control and removal. I found that I had to scan my computer 5 times before it removed everything.
Cons
One word of warning, use with care as my last use ended up with me having to reinstall my wirless card.

When a peice of software has what this baby does, people shouldnt expect a cake walk like hittin the "delete cookies & temp files" button. This is a great program, and it is aggresssive like it should be. It claims its going to optimize your sustem by getting rid of anything remotely junk. That bing said, it does indeed tread the thin line of OS files need and unneeded. YOU NEED TO KNOW WHAT U'r DOIN to use this. No body should just be pressing "scan" buttons and then "remove" w/o going over what the tool has picked off. If you do you'll be in operating system do-do. I've run it a few times, and it's got rid of tons of junk of all three of my hard drives (and 2 OSs.) Since, I've run some quick scans and it ran through right fast and kept the systems nice and purring. Cant say enough about this but again, if you're not exactly sure what to put in the soup, don't pick up the ladel baby! I'm actually gonna use this software in the business and advise on adding it to peoples utility portfolio.
Cons
Not much, I've been kind of fond of Scotty the little barking Patrol pooch, hes fun and cuddly, so maybe some added interface features. How about something along the lines of "Emily Rose" running around screaming her head off when she finds rampant junk files and folders, and she keeps going until you finally smartin up and clean your system out.
