This application gives users connectivity information without much hassle. WinIPConfig works in the same manner as the ipconfig.exe command, but instead of needing to type it on the command prompt line, you'll receive the same information using this program's familiar GUI. The program automatically detects and inserts your IP address onto its active IP address field. Click the IPConfig button, and your system's IP address, subnet mask, and default gateway are revealed. WinIPConfig also displays several server configuration option buttons for greenhorns to fumble through since a help file isn't included. At any rate, this free software is a decent option for checking up on your connection.
