BBCode Studio for Windows

This freeware simplifies offline post creation for PHPBB sites, but it is limited to a single site. BBCode Studio's interface is clean, logically arranged, and familiar to PHPBB users. You easily can format your comment with BBCode Studio's HTML commands. There is no need to remember any HTML codes; just highlight the text and press the appropriate button. The utility immediately places the correct codes around the text. Some users may not care for seeing the coding and wish for a WYSIWYG interface; however, the Preview function helps visualize the final formatting.

BBCode Studio offers numerous one-click functions to add images, format URLs, insert smilies or quotes, and change fonts. Completing the finished comment is a mere matter of clicking on the appropriate forum and pressing the Send button. You choose a site during setup and BBCode Studio remembers all forum names. That's great, but you cannot add additional sites to your list.

Users are expected to know PHPBB styles, functions, and procedures, as a help file is not included. Nevertheless, this freeware is a boon for intermediate to advanced PHPBB users who primarily post to a single site.
