This free package helps you create a nice-looking photo gallery for your Web site, but Expectal Photo Gallery does not make the process simple. First, it's not clear where you should start once you download this zip file. You'll see files and folders for sample music and photo images, but your best bet is to begin with the user guide. After immersing yourself in its contents, you learn you have to manually edit the package's XML file to determine which images will be displayed. It's not an easy process to include your own images, captions, and album names, so it will expedite matters if you know a little about XML code. To view the completed Flash-designed photo album, which has an editable basic, run-of-the-mill frame, just open the photogallery.html file. While the results are satisfying, the creation process will wear out novices. Advanced, time-crunched users will appreciate the coding included with Expectal Photo Gallery. Others, however, should go in search of the available friendlier programs in this category.
