  Pros

  1. It's free. 2. The screener results seem to agree with other software programs that I paid an embarassing amount of money for in the past. 3. The back testing features really sold me. No, not every stock it picked made money, but most of them did.

  Cons

  It doesn't come with a "hold your hand" manual, you gotta take some time to learn it. The "Help Menu" button didn't work for me until I found the "VISTATRADESHELP" file in the VistaTrades folder and clicked on it. I found the online tutorials on the website to be way more helpful than the help file in the program. The installation process isn't all that smooth either. The process it goes through to get the historical data for stocks after the first installation takes hours and hours.

  Summary

  I like free stuff, and I've downloaded lots of it from various places. Most of it doesn't even work, but this program seems to work fine.

• Don't Bother With This Program

  None that were visible.

  Cons

  Help file selection gives an error message and clicking "OK" on the message closes the program.closed the program. The entry asks for a sock symbol and then when you try to put the data in it says to pick a stock or symbol------which was just entered. Without a help file and apparently the program lacks obviousness.

  Summary

  The program makes great promises but can't deliver.
