  Mid Oct 2008:- Neurosolutions were asked: When will an update of TradingSolutions be released? Within 3, 6 , 12 or 24 months? Mid Oct 2008:- Response from Neurosolutions - As mentioned previously, we do not have a firm timeline for the next TradingSolutions release. My expectation is the 6 month timeframe, although we may try to put out a collection of bug fixes before > then. My comment: (Still no update and the software is seriously full of bugs to the extent that it is impossible to actually believe any of the output that the software produces). 24/02/2010:- Neurosolutions were asked: When will Tradingsolutions 5 be released? TS4 seems a little dated, there's not even multithreading support! 24/02/2010: - Response from Neurosolutions: We are most definitely making progress on our releases with the recent release of the OptiGen Library, NeuroSolutions 6.0 Customer Beta and of course Trader68 3.0 Beta. While we realize most in these forums don?t care about our other products such as NeuroSolutions or the OptiGen Library, many of those research of efforts with these products will carry over to products like TradingSolutions which will ultimately help in neural network model development. With that said, we have been working on TradingSolutions 4.1 which will contain numerous bug fixes we?ve received over the years as well as some new features that has been highly requested. We definitely have a roadmap in mind for TradingSolutions 5.0, but as with both releases we do not have a release date for either. We?ve always strived to ensure that the products are ready for release, when they are ready. We have lots of great things coming down the pipeline for all of our products that we (NeuroDimension) are very excited about so to stay up-to-date on news please make sure you are signed up for our Newsletters. My comment: (It is practically guaranteed that this company will charge a fortune to release updates and upgrades that users would receive free of charge from any other ethical company such as Neuroshell or Tradecision. This is exacerbated because many of the TradingSolutions users actually paid an additionally few hundred dollars to ensure that we continued to received updates but since no updates what so ever have been released for close to FIVE years we?d have to pay even more money so basically we have been ripped off). 20/10/2007: Neurosolutions were asked: Sometimes I think that TS simply isn't being developed and enhanced. Not quite dead in the water but rather gulping down gallons of water. How come afterall this time TS (a quite expensive piece of software) still doesn't have integrated trading? NeuroShell and Tradecision are constantly adding additional brokers to their integrated trading functionality. All the users of TS get is "TradingSolutions is an official FXCM introducing broker." When will integrated (as in free) trading be added to TS? 2007: As early as mid 2007 Neurosolutions were actually advertising Trader68 (free automated trading product for TradingSolutions) as a finished product in a magazine titled ?Technical Analysis of STOCKS & COMMODITIES.? Trader68 didn?t even exist as a product anywhere close to beta until at least two years after this date. Basically, they attempted to increase sales of TradingSolutions by misleading the public. 04/03/2010:- as of today there is no reliable automated solution for Trading Solutions real-time. Trader68 exists but it is full of bugs. Conclusion: When you use a product to help you maximise your wealth then it is imperative that the organisation/vendor that you deal with has exemplary ethics and unquestionable integrity. Admittedly this organisation has external stakeholders who have these characteristics but it is blatantly apparent that they are absent from those who run this organisation on a day to day basis. Obviously, don?t just take my word for it but do some research.

• TradingSolutions 4 doesn't work; vendor lack integrity

  The user interface is pretty!

  The vendor can't even create viable trading models so what chance have the public. Just look at their sample models, no stops and many have drawdowns of 80%, if the model tanks the vendor simply replaces them try doing that with real money!

  Summary

  How I wish I had read your review several years ago. This software is a complete watse of time. I have own TradingSolutions for several years. It is full of bugs, take an eternity to optimize and train then 99 out of 100 the result is terrible. Out of sample doesn't appear to be out of sample because the model invariably starts to lose money as soon as one starts to trade. The company are very unethical and often lie about support, services and add-ons. Their are hardly any users of this software and most of those who have used it aren't happy at all. Neurodimensions actively encourages customers to write positive reviews for them by offering large incentives. The functions writer is very cumbersome and is almost like learning a new programming language. The SDKs that are offered for about $500 are next to useless. Avoid this software at all costs! Try rapidminer (which is free) or other free software. If you really must spend then go for Neuroshell because it works.

  You will spend hours and hours and hours and never make a model that lasts more than a week if you are lucky.

  Summary

  Look at the demo results of neural netwoks made by the publisher. They know the program better than you ever will. Would you trade their demo neural networks? Thought not. Don't expect your networks to do any better. If you can afford to lose 50% on a trade, by my guest. I just haven't seen a Neural network program work as well advertised yet. They all give a short demo and charge big money after the short demo. Add-ons list as long as your arm to spend more thousands. By the time you figure out the program, it is too late for a refund.
