• Simple To Use. Powerful

  Pros

  Uberstaller got rid of programs completely, including deletion of Windows registry entries. It has a simple user interface that's intuitive and offers other user useful functions including a file shredder. Far more thorough than Windows uninstaller.

  Cons

  Program loading appeared to be limited to those displayed in the control panel add/remove Windows components. But those programs not shown could still be loaded into the Uberstaller shredder.

  Summary

  A very helpful program that got rid of troublesome malware.

  Pros

  The Good: Rather than a simple listing or page of icons, Uberstaller 2.0 provides a table showing installed programs + related info (program date, version, etc.) Useful when you have similarly named programs or multiple versions of the same program.

  Cons

  The Bad: it crashed repeatedly when trying to uninstall a simple little game program I'd been testing. Salt in the wound: it tried to report the problem but couldn't reach its server and quit. The Ugly: The interface is reminiscent of mid-90s GUI's.
