Installed the program, and nowhere did it mention it was going to add the "White Smoke" toolbar. Then at the end of the install it asks if I want to execute the program, and of course I say "yes"....what happens next? Nothing...at first. I expected a program window to appear...it doesn't. But what does happen? This program is running, and chewing my available ram up, so I had only 7% available RAM...it brought Win7 to its knees!!! I used Advanced System Care uninstall, and removed this #?!#? program, and the toolbar it installed. I agree with another review I read...CNET is not doing a good job of preventing malware to be available for download. This is the second download from CNET today that I had a problem like this with, and I only downloaded 2 programs. So, thats what I call an EPIC FAIL!!

Looks like it would've helped with my connection. Unfortunately didn't work with 7, AND came with CLARO crap Adware a browser Hijacker that replaced all my home screens with it's ad based-garbage. CNET used to be good about not allowing that. Last time I download anything from Cnet. throughly disappointed. Do NOT DOWNLOAD.

This program used correctly works like it says that it does. Very through explanation of what is recommended and what is not and usually makes sure that the recommended option is selected by default before you even click to the next screen.
Cons
People using Windows Vista and or 7 just need to run this in compatibly mode for Windows XP SP2 or 3 and should fix whatever loading issues there is for the program because I did have that problem myself until I changed some things on the various systems that I have used this on.
Summary
Overall despite it's not working from the just downloaded state to the computer untouched it did what it said that it would do and I am overall pleased with those settings and it didn't mess up my computer at all and was easy to install.

Connection Booster has stopped working. A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available. How it stop working if it never start ???

Installed restarted, started the booster failed right out of the starting line. Just did not start Windows said it Quit working. LOL Quit Working it never started. Am running Vista 32-bit
