Many great features Integrates well into my app
Cons
Support appears to be non-existent. Even asking a simple question gets no response at all.
Summary
If you can't work out how to do something with this SDK then you're stuck. There's not even a Forum where you can ask other users.
Powerful SDK let down by terrible support & aftersales

Pros
- More features than most of the rival video capture SDK's - Affordable price compared to rivals - Great, powerful SDK when it works !! - Good help documentation - Frequent SDK updates
Cons
- Abysmal after sales support. Your often wait weeks of months for a reply to a support query. - SDK has tons of bugs. - Your feel like a beta tester or a member of their bug testing team every time the SDK is updated or a fix is issued. - DEMO application is a mass of buttons and is confusing to new users
Summary
Datastead is run by Michel who appears to be a one person support / programmer team. Michel is helpful but extremely slow to reply to emails (Weeks, months) often to the point where you think your email has gone down. I am pretty sure Michel works part time hence the slow support. Usually it takes 3-4 patches before any fix issued works making you feel like a beta tester and that this should have been tested prior to being sent out.

Easy to use. Tons of options

The basic functionality works, but once you try to take advantage of all the available options you will notice that many of them don't work properly.
Summary
Support is incredibly slow and most of the time they don't even answer. Even if they are aware of the problems they don't care too much in fixing it. Unless you use this for your personal use I think it's very risky to use this component for a business. If one of your customers has a problem you depend exclusively on TVideograbber and they probably won't fix that problem because they don't care how important it can be for you.
