TypeItIn lets you define buttons that will type in any information you want into any application. You can use TypeItIn to fill out forms on the web, or process forms at work. It's a great tool for applications where you frequently type the same thing like creating HTML code or writing standard letters or emails.Another great use is for entering user names and passwords. You can also launch applications or web sites with the click of a button. You can create up to 200 password protected groups, each with up to 200 buttons. TypeItIn can automatically type in the time, date, month, or day of the week too. In addition, you can also Record your own typing to automatically create buttons.
Completely configurable buttons, create as many groups./buttons as you need to suit your purposes.
Makes filling forms a piece of cake.
I've been using this software for about 10 years now and I love it more and more each day.
Cons
Only that I tend to rave about it too much...
Summary
Hands down the most useful piece of software you will ever use, if you are in an environment when you frequently enter/type the same information (web forms, travel bookings, programming, etc etc etc.
The possibilities are endless, and you are sure to find more once you start using it.
great shortcut

Cons
none as of now
Summary
years of use, saves much time typing, keeps getting better!
Excellent simple program for my needs
Pros
Gentle learning curve and easy to use. Great for "boiler plate" comments left at many message boards. Use on the Web or on office documents. Try the free version for 30 days to get the feel for it. Responsive owner via his Web site
Cons
Could be a little more intuitive to learn but not a difficult app. More useful than it originally seems when first used.
Summary
I bought this app eeeek!!!!! six years ago according to the receipt.
The creator is still around and supporting it.
I am glad I paid for the Pro version. All upgrades have been free and the program is stable and has saved me time.
I enjoy using boiler-plate comments at a variety of message boards and Type-it-in makes doing so easy.
Instead of concocting new replies to non-specific message board comments I can often push a Type-it-in button to leave a general reply.
It is easy to alter a reply after Type-it-in auto-types the message.
Messages within Type-it-in are also easy to edit.
Remember to left-click on the Type-it-in pop-up box section you want to alter such as a message button to alter an old one or add a new one.
Play with the app for a few minutes and especially if you are not a rookie to various apps you will have it all figured out.
Type-it-in Web site also has a link to a helpful message board where users gather.
Other apps available but I haven't tried them.
Basically, a god, useful app that has functioned well from Win 95 to Win98 and Win98SE and now in Win XP home edition for several years.
Sticking with XP for awhile so can not proclaim that newer O/Ss will function.... see the Web site, I suppose, for functionality with later O/Ss.<br /><br /><span class='notifyMsg'> Updated </span>on Dec 4, 2009<p/>I was able to resize the buttons by right clicking and selecting either button width or height and making the change. Font can also be changed for button and there are several other options than can be made to make the app user-friendly to the individual.
Good piece of software.
EMSilvers
Pros
It works well for copying text or passwords into forms. It also has a record setup to create macros, and multi-functions.
Cons
A little sluggish and the newer versions don't work on some pages, though I think Waveget will probably fix that problem in the next upgrade or two.
Summary
This software is well worth the download. The freeware version is adequate when you just need it to do a few things.
I paid for the full featured product several years ago, and have never regretted it.

Good program. Potential for a better program.
cesarinternational
Pros
Quick for pasting frequently used information. Right click on title to roll it up. Right click on the buttons to mane new ones, etc. You can create categories.
Cons
The window cannot be resized to see more of the title of the button. The process of creating buttons is very slow: one at a time, which is time consuming if you have many to do.
Summary
It can save long texts. Just the title that explain of the text will be short. The window can be faded. Use the right button of the mouse in different parts of the window to see the menus. It defaults to vertical display of the buttons and can display them horizontally by changing the size of the window. I did not see a help file.<br /><br /><span class='notifyMsg'> Updated </span>on Jan 24, 2009<p/>UPDATE: Right click on the buttons to make new buttons, edit, or delete them. You can copy or move the buttons to a group. YOU CAN CHANGE THE BUTTON FONT, WIDTH, AND HEIGHT. Which means you can rezise the buttons. The problem is that not much: about 41 letters (200 pixels).
Excellent product that saves time typing.
Pros
I have been using Typeitin for quite a while and not only saves you time typing everyday words or phrases, but it has helped me tremendously when doing repetitive actions like data entry, or scripting.
Cons
Sometimes the little window is obtrusive, but you get used to it.
Summary
I love this little gadget, it has saved me so much time over the past few years that I have probably gotten the 20 bucks back a hundred times.
I highly recommend it.
