TreePad Lite is a very intuitive and small, yet powerful personal database program, only 465 K in size. It allows you to store all your notes, e-mails, texts, and hyperlinks into one or multiple databases. With the look and feel of the familiar Windows Explorer, editing, storing, browsing, searching and retrieving your data can not be easier. TreePad Lite can be run directly from a floppy, if necessary, including data. To find any article you previously created or imported, you can browse the tree, in the same way as you browse directories/folders in Windows Explorer. You also can use the internal search engine to find any piece of information swiftly.

Pros
One of the best utilites around, very easy to setup and use. It will allow you to make lists of anything you can imagine in numerical, alpha or any other confirgeration. I consider it a "must have" for general office work.
Cons
Not a thing. It is a very good basic program that does what it says it will do.
Summary
A time saver that can be built into a fountain of knowledge by adding what YOU are interested in. You can set up your own format and produce a customized endless reference for yourself. What I'm trying to say is: You done good !

Pros
A tree structured PIM type program, and as stated, it works. Try using another free program with it (Axcrypt) ... you can then strongly encrypt your FREE personal information manager. Want better yet? Try Treepad Business Edition, or X-Enterprise.
Cons
It does not have a built in spell checker.
Summary
One of the most useful programs I've seen in 25 years in the computer field!

Pros
VERY adaptable. You can use it for ANYTHING. I use it to do my course outlines, lesson plans, to do lists, contacts, misc information, password storage, work log, misc bits of info like songs I hear and want to learn, gift ideas for family, info on products I'm researching to buy, etc. VERY simple to use - not as sophisticated as KeyNote or some others, but I've had bugs with KeyNote, and KeyNote does a POOR job on printing. Much simpler to use - very lightweight app.
Cons
Not much .. what it lacks (some formatting and export options etc) is in the reasonably priced pay version.

If you buy and lose the unlock code, they impose a fine. This is not what you call support. <p> <p>Try Tolon's Notekeeper or Keynote. They are just as good, but free.

... but rather download KEYNOTE as it's got more better and fuller features than this. Better and more fuller features than TreePad Biz or Enterprise Edition (which you pay for). Check out something different, something, which works the way you want it to work ... Keynote.
