VORG Express - Free Organizer

VORG Express - Free Organizer is a comprehensive program for managing contacts, schedules, important documents, and more. It has all the features you'd expect of a personal information manager, as well as a few you wouldn't. We think it's a great choice for busy professionals of all types.

VORG Express has an interface that reminded us of Microsoft Outlook, with menus on the left for Folders, Contacts, Calendar, Tasks, Notes, and Documents. Most of these are pretty straightforward, and they look and function as you would expect them to; there are multiple calendar views, contacts are organized in a card format alphabetically, tasks can be assigned due dates and reminders, and so on. All of these features are pretty typical for PIM programs, and they should be easy to figure out for anyone who's used Outlook or a similar program. One of the more-interesting features that VORG Express provides is something within the Folders menu called Vorgspaces, which are collaborative workspaces in which multiple users can create diagrams, share documents and images, and more. VORG Express can also be synced with a variety of database types, including Microsoft Access, Microsoft MSDE, and MySQL. The program comes with a thorough Help file that explains its features, though if you're not familiar with basic networking principles you might have some trouble figuring out how to employ the program's multi-user capabilities. Overall, we were quite impressed with the variety of features that VORG Express - Free Organizer offers, and we think it's worth checking out if you've felt limited by your current PIM's capabilities.
