• An excellent concept mapping tool set that goes beyond!

  Pros

  As a technical professional and project manager, I employ a vast array of documents in many different formats, mostly MS Office and PDFs. Topicscape gives me a really unique set of tools to create relationships between these information objects.

  Cons

  1. Needs a collaboration method so that others can share the same Topicscape at the same time. 2. Does have a bit of a learning curve at first, but once you're 'there,' it's terrific!

  Summary

  The unique 3D "scapes" deliver a fresh new approach to looking at and organizing information. I store a large amount of information in these little, well... buildings, that resemble pyramids. I liken them to libraries designed to hold very different collections. I can then create relationships between these various nodes and know instantly where I can find templates, PPTs, white papers, Excel spreadheets, project plans and other documents. My recommendation... download a copy... take a couple of hours to get to know Topicscape, and you'll find you'll have a more intelligent alternative to a mind map. In fact, I enhance my mind mapping experience by pairing Topicscape with my favorite mind mapping tool, which by the way, Topicscape can import!!
