Get an small identification server for your Windows machine.
Tiny IdentD is a small ident server for Win32. An Ident server is a small service that IRC servers, and some non-IRC related servers, use to verify your username. Tiny IdentD supports both IPv4 and IPv6, and will sit inobtrusivley in your systray.
There is a critical vulnerability in Tiny IdentD 2.2 (and all previous versions) due to a buffer overflow problem. This lets an attacker take complete control over any computer running the Tiny IdentD software (by remote arbitrary code execution). For more information Google "TinyIdentD buffer overflow".

I've just installed it on my server and it's working perfectly. All the bugs that "MO Industries Product Team" mentioned have been fixed in the latest version (2.4), which you can find in the downloads section of the author's website. I would also like to point out that "MO Industries" is the maker of another ident server and has rated his own software highly while criticizing this one. Personally, I've tried both, and the 2.4 version of this software is much more complete. Need ident? Get this.
FAT not tiny.

Poorly handles connections

Summary
This software looked halfway decent at first, but it didn't take me long to find a couple obvious problems with it. First off after establishing 6 connections that terminate abruptly after connecting, the server will no longer accept any more connections because it doesn't recognize that the remote computer closed its end of the connection. Although the server does not crash due to this problem, it does render the server useless since it no longer responds to requests, also know as a Denial of Service. Second there doesn't seem to be any timeout placed on connections that are made. Therefore if the first problem didn't exist, the same effect could still be acheived by leaving 6 simultaneous connections open to the server.
