  Pros

  Extremely flexible program as to the types of information that can be tracked. Allows for personalization and tailoring to the needs of the user.

  A bit pricey. But there aren't any good free alternatives. The learning curve is a bit steep, but then I might be a bit dense at times too.

  If you are looking for a personal inventory/information tracking program, this has the potential to be that tool. The learning curve can be a bit steep, but the provision of a sample database helps a lot. It seems a bit pricey, but the free programs listed that met my needs were no longer accessible for accession keys (websites down, etc). The other $$ programs all have built-in restrictions that do not include items that I want tracked, or do not allow the use of hyperlinks for data and other sites. I was willing to bite the bullet & buy the product after a week's use.

  I can customize every data field that I want to and organize things the way I want

  There is a bit of a learning curve but once you get used to it, it is quite easy and intuituve to use

  Summary

  The best thing is that nothing is pre-defined. You are free to name categories, name data fields and even name everything you see on the screen (even the buttons) or in a report to suit your needs.
