This simplistic tool offers information about your hardware and system components, but precious little is of real value. Test My Hardware has a simple, functional interface--tabbed for categories (System, Component, About, Exit) with a vertical row of buttons, one for each hardware and system component (Mainboard, CPU, BIOS, and so forth). In our tests, the utility displayed details about each item, such as manufacturer, model number, and capacities, but it performed slowly. Test My Hardware executed no real diagnostic tests that revealed anything about performance issues. This utility is simple to use and may be best-suited for novices; experienced users will want a more robust tool that offers real diagnostics.

Confirmed the awesomeness of my virsus scanner once more.

Detected potentially unwanted software. Win32/Adware.ErrorRepairPro application
Summary
I will never attempt to try this software for the rest of my life, and don't false positive blast me. If my scanner says it's bad, I have no reason to believe the download. I rate this on the scale of 0-4 stars where 4 is 100% and 0 is 0%. So that's star one around here I guess.

it only shows basic imformation about your computer which you can get from windows based programs. Then it tells you to download the latest version which is a different program which is a spyware confirmed by norton avg and webroot. DON'T USE!

Simple to use.

Basically click a component like "memory" and get the very basic information about it. I was hoping it would run some sort of test to make sure components were working properly. Given the name "Test My Hardware" you'd assume that's what it did.
Summary
Waste of time, offered no information of value and tested nothing at all, not even a simple test to say "pass" or "fail".
