Its quite convinient to use and it makes administring MySQL as easy as abc. I installed it on a Windows OS and everything went well

Pros
Can perform a few database administrative tasks pretty well.
Cons
Pretty weak when it comes to working with data. I found query editor unworkable, and table data grid has limited view width - there doesn't seem to be a horizontal scrolling capability for the grid.

I use MySQL. This is exactly what I bloody need while I'm developing dailytutor.com . KUDOS!
Cons
Too bad it's only for MySQL. Can't it also accomodate other servers, such as PostgreSQL, DB2, Oracle, SQL Server and so forth? After all, they all support all the basic SQL operations. <p> <p>That would be extremely cool.

It has the ability to connect to multiple servers, administrator data and users, perform backups and move data across in a user transparent way. Moving a table or a database is as simple as copy and paste. Use it on any machine from Windows to Mac and Linux. No Web server necessary, very user friendly, extremely low footprint and will work with any JDBC MySQL driver. The Tarantula has the potential to change the way developers choose their next database.
