  Pros

  It was easy to install and I deployed to 10 machines using active directory. Out of the box I audited 10 machines and exported the data to Excel. Easy to use with advanced features if you need it to do something different.

  Pros

  Systemhound offers great value for money. It was deployed in minutes and gathering information straight away. The reports I got were detailed and I could export the data to Excel and Access to slice and dice at my leisure. <p> <p>It did exactly what I needed and cheap enough to expense without sign off from the IT director. More expensive products do offer more options but we just didn't need all the 'extras'. <p> <p>Recommend it..

  Use this on my home pc as well as at work and find myself using it all the time, not just for regular inventories! The hardware detail is really useful and all the admins can just browse the data using our intranet, which is cool. We even customise the software reports to show us exactly what antivirus virus defs are on each pc. All in all, can't really fault this at the price. Serious value for money. And its great that my users can't knowingly uninstall it, which is how it should be otherwise whats the point of having inventory software....Admins of course are able to uninstall the client software easily, and remotely too

  sometimes the amount of software data returned is a bit much, even though you can hide what you dont want to see. I reckon there needs to be some sort of user grouping functionality...

  Pros

  Easy to setup and with a simple search and find tool. The web front end is great but I found that the export to excel tool is the real gem, as you can create your own reports. This software has helped me solved my inability to keep an up to date asset register.

  Was very easy to install and to use out of the box. <p>Excellent value for money and we love the web reporting! We evaluated quite a few inventory products and systemhound was far the best value. <p>Wish we'd bought it years ago. <p> <p>Paid for itself when we had an audit carried out.

  No integrated helpdesk, though believe its in the pipeline.

  Pros

  brilliant! this has a great web interface, clean and easy to use. The remote installation feature is really a great time saver, and you get the reports back instantly. The hardware is pretty comprehensive, and the software reports are detailed and I can add my licenses too. The data exports to Excel and Access if you need more analysis.

  Cons

  Doesn't do network devices like routers. Other than that this is perfect for my 300 pc environment.

  not for personal use... just looking for a personal inventory program. Why one star? No Unistallation program. that’s rude. <p> <p>Ignore this unless you are a sysadmin.
