  afther install driver, my windows completely fall..nice ...really...thanx I had to do of complete reinstal of operating system...for one driver shit i lost 2 days because now i have lot to do with my new pc..nice ..nice thanx for this shit..

  I do not understand how it can be put into windows incompatible driver..every driver on win 8.1 its shit and this 18.0.7.0 its disaster..thank you very much!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  Not only did I not get a driver, I got an internet toolbar, a tophat arcade download, and a virus. PC Optimzer Pro is now screwing up my computer, and now I have that to deal with on top of my touchpad going wonky

  I like using the touch pad and for a while it worked fine. Then one day the scroll and tap corners quit working. So I had to go into mouse settings and reset the scroll and tap functions. I had to do this every time I rebooted. To fix this I went to the touch pad site and was referred to the driver site for Lenovo. I got the driver and installed it. The touch pad worked for about 3 days then the tap feature disappeared and can't be reset. I think Lenovo or Synaptics has neglected to update the driver.

  Hasn't got the touchpad working again.

  Summary

  Downloaded this as the touchpad on my Acer Aspire suddenly stopped working. Had to revert to Acer's own USB mouse. I suspected a virus, but McAfee has detected nothing amiss. Downloaded the driver, ran it, but no change - the touchpad does not react at all.
