The single drawback is that when the dock restarts iCal's dock icon resets itself to "17," so you never know the date at a glance. That, of course, reflects 100% on a poor design decision by Apple, and not on this utility.

How about another program that simply deletes all that junk once and for all? OSX is stuffed with trash programs that only a bored kiddie would ever use.
