Looks fancy.

Doesn't work. Even the UI buttons don't work. Couldn't "launch start page". Couldn't detect, manually enter, or connect to any databases.
Summary
I downloaded this software in the course of tyring to find something to format my SQL queries nicely. Many of the free online formatters change table and field names to lower-case, which is not acceptable at all. Unfortunately, SQL Visualizer was just a big disappointment. I couldn't even enter a query without connecting to a database, but there wasn't any way to connect to a database despite the fact that there are at least 3 different database server technologies on my network (MS, MySQL, and Sybase). Uninstalled...
A well thought out development environment

Pros
I like this product, it brings together many improvements that have been crying out in Microsoft's SQL tools for years. It's worth the price for the data scripting and XML conversion alone. But the main feature for me is the intellisense that has saved me countless hours of menial typing. I can't work without this product now. Microsoft take note: this is what we should have got with SQL 2005!
