If you mess up you need it!

Pros
Instead of clearing out some old test data I wiped the customer records for the last month! I had heard about log rescue before so thought I would give it a go. Working on different projects, many with no decent back up's makes this a must. For less than the price of an ipod no one will ever know if you mess up...

The free trial stops working after 2 weeks!

Pros
I had a DBA's worst nightmare - a dropped table. Not just any old table, but one with contact names for key customers. Ouch. A search of download.com pointed me towards log rescue. A couple of minutes later I ran a script and the table was back . Sweet.
Cons
Doesn't seem to be compatible with SQL Server 2005 yet
