SQL Index Console is a Windows application that helps you detect index fragmentation and gives you a way to fix fragmented indexes quickly and easily.

Features:

Detect Index Fragmentation- Get a detailed list of indexes, including type, size, amount of fragmentation, and other attributes.- Recommendations (and reasons for those recommendations) are automatically provided index-by-index using thresholds you can configure.- Sorting and filtering allow you to find the indexes you are interested in.

Fix Fragmented Indexes- Use the default recommendations or manually override the recommendation for any index by checking the Rebuild or Reorganize checkbox.- Preview the selected actions before executing them.- Use SQL Index Console to defrag the indexes with the click of a button, or generate a T-SQL script that can be run in SQL Server Management Studio.

Analyze- Export the detailed index list to a Microsoft Excel workbook, a CSV file, or a tab-delimited text file so you can analyze fragmentation over time.
