This ultrasimple clock application omits too many important features to be a truly compelling option. Basically, SoftCollection Digital Clock appears on your desktop as a rectangular box containing a green LCD. The application shows the time down to the second, as well as the month, day, and year. Although you can make a few tweaks to the clock's appearance and adjust the transparency, you won't be able to choose from different designs or even change the color of the digits. Unlike many more robust clock-enhancement programs we've seen, this one doesn't show the time in different world locations, can't sync to atomic clocks, and won't even let you set alarms and reminders. As a result, we can only recommend SoftCollection Digital Clock to those who really don't like Windows' built-in clock.
