Perform an immediate backup of a SQL Server database.

This simple utility makes it very easy to backup a Microsoft SQL Server database. The utility allows you to connect to SQL Server 7.0, SQL Server 2000, SQL Server 2005, or SQL Server 2008 (any edition) and any instance. Once connected you can select a database and perform an immediate backup, restore, or move of a database.

The program is intended for companies that have applications using SQL Server, but don't have IT staff that are familiar with the SQL Server tools.

Pros
Easyish to use and having tested it it is quick and so far reliable. Good for moving databases from one PC to another easily. Gets round backups on MSSQL Express editions.

The software is great. Simple to backup and restore my databases on my 2008 Server with SQL Server 2008 Express. All it needs now is a scheduler to automate the process. ;)
