Specifically, P-Ping pings your pre-defined IP addresses along TCP/UDP ports, including FTP and SMTP, and notifies your network administrators via Web mail of discrepancies. Runs easily on servers or workstations. Also has logging capabilities, so you can automatically track network problems, and later review network events like an event viewer. There are missing manual pages! How does that happen ? It can only ping one ip-address at a time so using it to monitor availability of multiple servers is not possible.

I was looking for something that did just this - only with the ability to import a list of ip addresses or host names, neither or which this can do. But none the less, it's good at what it DOES do.

A very nice and helpfull Tool. but Never use a wrong IP-Address in the 'All Port Scan' Tab! It will crash the Application. All Port Scan run from Port 1 to 65535 and for each Port it will open the Messagebox 'IP Adress Error' Resovle it by clicking the STOP Button! And in the Ping Tab is also something like but try itself. Make a Ping to any corect Address (123.123.123.99) after that try the Address 123.123.123.999 this Address returns a successfull ping. How can that be?
