SignOut is a network-based electronic office sign-out board that lets others know where you're going. At the touch of a few keys, you can find where anyone in the office has gone, how to reach him, and when he expects to return. Also includes a message center where you may leave messages for office-mates when they are out. Very simple to use. Version 6.0 is Windows Vista compatible.

Easy to use

SignOut is almost too easy to use. There are just a few fields to fill in, so signing out takes little time. And signing back in takes only one mouse click. The program's message center is handy for leaving notes for people when they've stepped out of the office. I can't imagine an easier program.

Pros
Before we got SignOut, people on their way out would tell me when they'd be back, and I'd have to remember in case anyone else asked me where so-and-so went. Sometimes I'd forget, so they got SignOut, which has a better memory than I do. With SignOut, I can also leave a message for so-and-so if someone stops by to see him while he's out.

SignOut is a handy little program. It's simple to use and very convenient. Since beginning with the software, we've come to depend upon it heavily. Leaving messages for people while they're out is an aspect of the program that some of us use regularly. But we all find its in-out board to be the main reason for having the program.

Pros
This is such a simple program that there's very little to say about it, except that it does what it's supposed to in as easy a manner as I can imagine. The program offers a clean interface and is easy to learn. As a sign-out board, it's hard to beat.

SignOut keeps us straight. It is so simple that only a couple of people needed someone to walk them through how to use it. Signing out is easy enough, but signing back in takes only one button click. Our department head doesn't have to step out of her office or call me to find out where people are, because she can now look at her own computer to get the answers. We just love it.
