Summary
Finally, a viable replacement for Palm desktop! Of course, it only handles calendar and contacts, but that's all Google provides (for PIM-type data). It seems quite early on its development curve, so there are very few features or options, but it does what it does quickly, easily, and with no surprises. I particularly like that it's a very lightweight application (only 2.3 megabytes for the whole installation) - no bloatware here! It also seems very bug-free, even with the vagaries of synchronizing (which was Palm's strongest point, and even it had problems occasionally). I wish it had the ability to import/export data (yes, I know I can do this on Google, but it's a pain), and to specify where the data is stored (so I can include it in my backup scheme). Also, there is very little ability to configure the various views - you're pretty much stuck with the way the author liked it. It does handle re-sizing well, though, so it's not too much of an issue. I bought it after doing the free trial for a little while, and am completely satisfied with the purchase. I'm looking forward to the updates, and hoping that they're of equal quality.

Updated on Aug 6, 2015
Well, it has worked great for the past few months, but now contact synchronization is broken: new or edited contacts either locally or at Google never transfer to the other location. (Schedule synchronization - in my opinion the more difficult - still works fine.
Unfortunately, I have since submitted requests (twice) from the form on the web site, and emailed to the two different addresses shown in my licensing key email, with absolutely no response from Azotix. There are no newer versions of the software, either.
So until this gets fixed, I can't really recommend the product, since it doesn't work (anymore), and support is non-existent (which I sort of feared - it definitely seems like a one-man shop). Too bad, because this is the only product I've found of this type.
Solid Product

Pros
Synchronizes with Gmail calendar and contacts flawlessly. It allows you offline ability to modify contacts and create calendar events.
Cons
I wish the main contact screen provided more display flexibility options. I would like to able to turn off the contact preview screen. When editing I would like to be able to insert a date and time (or other text) from a menu box - very basic.
Summary
I like the product, just needs a little more polish.
