Used Shutdown Manager and Tools for Windows?
Editors’ Review
This application effectively performs scheduled shutdown operations and offers an interesting array of extras, including the option to clean online and offline traces and search your files. Shutdown Manager and Tools' interface is crowded with buttons, tabs, and menus, but the organized layout makes for surprisingly easy navigation. The large buttons for shutdown operations like Standby and Hibernate look just like the Windows' version, and that helps as well.
It's easy to schedule shutdowns on a recurring basis or set the timer for onetime operations. Advanced users will like the configurations to shut down after specific events occur, like the closing of a window when an automated task completes. Shutdown Manager and Tools has a handy feature that lets you automatically delete cache, temp files and folders, cookies, and history before performing shutdown functions. It also throws in an option-rich file finder, a process manager, and a one-click screenshot tool. System administrators can access a Remote Shutdown Manager tool on networked PCs. For security, the program is password-protected.
There's a 14-day trial limitation. Even though there are freeware tools on the market that offer some of Shutdown Manager and Tools' features and functionality, there aren't many that offer its diverse and useful extras.
